Point Buchon Trail Reservations
The Point Buchon Trailhead is accessed through the south end of Montana de Oro State Park (Coon Creek Parking Lot).
The trail is open Thursday through Monday from 8 am to 5 PM during the summer months (April through October) and from 8 am to 4 PM during the winter months (November through March).
There is a limit of 275 hikers per day. Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid being turned away at the trailhead.
The hike is easy but becomes moderately strenous with uneven terrain for the last approximately 1.5 miles.
To obtain your reservation, please fill out the information below and bring your signed release form to the trailhead on the day of the hike.
Please note that hikes will not go out during rainy or inclement weather.
